Vocational school as a community – training for administrators, teachers and students

Social and cooperative skills as well as intercultural competence are important prerequisites for the job market. At the same time, these skills are essential for fighting discrimination and xenophobia.

A World of Difference Berlin carries out workshops with students, teachers and administrators at vocational schools in Berlin and Brandenburg. Interested students and teachers are then trained to become peer-trainers and trainers in the vocational school environment and to pass on their knowledge to their classmates and colleagues.
A World of Difference trainers accompany this process.

The workshops aim at creating and sustaining a school climate that promotes tolerance, respects cultural differences and appreciates diversity.
